Day 9 - Buenos Aires

We enjoyed another easy start the day, with a civilised breakfast and a bit of time exploring the ship.

As we had a city tour this afternoon there wasn't time to get into the town before then, so we got ourselves straight in the morning and then had a relatively early lunch. At 12.30 we assembled en masse and were herded onto a series of buses. We drove around the town having various sights pointed out to us and eventually disembarked at La Recoleta Cemetery. This is interesting in itself, essentially a tight-packed town of mausoleums. Mostly famous for Eva Peron's tomb, but that is one of the less interesting ones.

We couldn't stop in the city square due to protests and so could only see some of the relates sight by bus, but got off again in the bohemian-cum-tourist district of La Boca.

The eventually back to the ship where we sailed out of the port into Rio La Plata before going to dinner and a walk around the deck.
